Week 6 Power Rankings

Well, gents - we're about a third of the way into the season. A season full of surprising spectacular performances, and some studs having disappointing starts. But some things remain unchanged.

Another year of Aaron's star QB Joe Burrow getting injured.

Another year where Collin's Bucs-led team defying expectations. I swear I'm not a hater. I just don't know how your team keeps doing well and winning.

That being said, it's time to update the power rankings and give some context into how these teams are rising... or plummeting.

Week 6 Power Rankings:

1. Footballers (4-1) (+2)

Emeka Egbuka and Javonte Williams are exceeding expectations, which is exactly what this team needed. Going into the season, there seemed to be a big questions mark at RB2 and doubts about whether any of the WR's could be top-end fantasy contributors. Well, so far that hasn't been an issue at all. Javonte Williams is the bell cow in a dynamic Cowboys offense, and Emeka Egbuka is having one of the best starts as a rookie receiver in NFL history.

2. In Pitts We Trust (4-1) (-1)

With the temporary loss of Ceedee Lamb and Ja'marr Chase losing Joe Burrow, the lack of WR depth is showing in this squad.

However.. the Falcons offense is starting to gel and Kyle Pitts is having a steady start to his second breakout season. It's on the horizon. Also Bijan Robinson is the best running back on the planet.

3. RB's we have the meats (3-2) (-1)

Puka Nacua is a fantasy god. As a reminder, he was picked up from waivers. This has to be the best waiver wire pickup in history.

This team is missing a RB2 until Hampton returns, which is worrisome with how tight the standings will likely finish. However, having Jalen and Lamar helps elevate this teams floor and will likely keep them in the top 5 at the minimum.

4. In Pitts We Bust (3-2): (+3)

Again, I seemed to rank this team too low. Although the name is moronic, the Bucs offense is explosive and there's no reason that will change in the future.

With Baker, Bucky and Godwin on the roster, if the Bucs are scoring 30+ a game, this team will likely score a ton of points as well.

5. Ass Etienne SZN (2-3) (+1)

Travis Etienne is having a serious resurgence and Rome Odunze has turned into a stud in the first several weeks of the season.

With the injury to Ceedee Lamb, Ferguson has turned into a safety blanket for Dak Prescott. He currently is 2nd in the NFL in receptions. This obviously won't last, but in the short term it's providing immense value for this downtrodden team.

Also, JSN is an absolute beast. This team looks to be trending upwards, but with Michael Mann as the manager .. it's only a matter of time until they fall back into the depths of the league.

6. All Barkley no Bite (2-3) (-2)

The good: Davante Adams is still producing, and JT is having a monster year. Rashee Rice's return is on the horizon.

The bad: The Eagles offense has been... not good. This is of course, not good for AJ Brown or Barkley.

Barkley has 0 games rushing over 100 yards, and only 1 game over 60 yards. Going into week 6 last year, he was averaging 108 yards per game on the ground. This year, he's averaging 53.

AJ Brown is WR41 on the year.

If this offense doesn't become drastically more explosive, it's hard to see a scenario where this team is dangerous come playoff time.

7. QB Carousel FC (2-3) (-2)

Another year, another Joe Burrow injury. But unlike last year, there is a savior on this roster. He is none other than .. Daniel Jones. The chosen one.

The Titans offense as a whole has been very bad, which makes Cam Ward a risky start each week. Ladd McConkey is also off to a much slower start than expected, partially due to the rise of Quentin Johnston.

This team has decent depth, but really needs one of Marvin/Ladd/Breece to heat up throughout the year to move this team up the rankings.

8.Darnold’s Disciples (2-3) (same)

Sam Darnold is having another amazing year. Quinshon Judkins appears to be very good. This team is better than expected, but still likely to finish in the bottom three.

It's hard to compete starting Zach Ertz in the year 2025.

9. Beans on Toast (2-3) (same)

There is some serious young talent on this team. However, losing Malik Nabers makes it especially difficult for a thin roster to compete. There's not a lot of depth, and this team is an injury or 2 away from being completely out of the competitive atmosphere. The future is bright for this team, which is not something I can say for every roster in the bottom three.

10. Cosbys Sleepers (1-4) (same)

Well, this roster is fucked. It seems like other than setting the lineups, there's minimal oversight for this squad. Dylan Sampson is starting, and this season seems to be already lost. This team seems to be in a great spot to rebuild, but that would require oversight.

How the mighty have fallen.
