Favorites, Contenders & Pretenders.

The regular season is winding down to a close. With the playoffs just over the horizon, it's time to sort out the favorites, the contenders & the pretenders of the Gentlemen's Fantasy Football League.

Title Favorites

Cosbys Sleepers

Cosbys Sleepers has coasted through the regular season with the deadly combination of Diggs & Kupp. The starting roster is extremely strong overall, featuring President Joe Mixon & Dameon Pierce as a strong RB 1/2 combo. Amari Cooper is also off to a great start, and will need to keep it up with the recent loss of Cooper Kupp. With a good chance at a bye, this team is one of the favorites to take home the crown.

DMeyering

Having largely avoided the injury bug this year, this team is ready to make a run to the ship. Josh Allen, AJ Brown and Saquon Barkley have been studs all year. If recent bust-turned-fantasy-god Christian Watson can be a factor, this team is going to be hard to take down.

Herbert Serbert

The definition of a top-heavy roster. When you split this team in two, you have one group of all stars and one group that is on the verge of joining the XFL.

With the recent trade of Justin Fields for Tyreek Hill (??), this team is clearly going all-in this year and has a team that can do it. With Herbert, Ekeler, JJ, you have 3 guys who can pop on any given week. Tannehill, although ass, can somewhat hold it down the SF spot. This team has as good a chance as any at taking the crown.

Contenders

ASS Revenge SZN

This team is vet-heavy, and it may just pay off when it matters the most. With a recent acquisition of Justin Fields, this team now has a dynamic QB that can put up points with anyone. Kirk Cousins has been steady all year, and the rest of this roster is talented enough to make a run in the playoffs. Also, Travis Kelce is still elite.

RBs W.H.T.M.

The only thing keeping this team out of the favorites section is their current record, which means there is a chance this squad won't make the playoffs and a guarantee that there will be no bye in week 1. However, if this team does make the playoffs, it's not one that anyone wants to face. RBs has won 4 in a row and has a stacked starting lineup consisting of JT, King Henry, CMC, Jalen Hurts, Davante Adams, and even Aaron Jones & Rhamondre. What once was a winless 0-6 last-place team is now a powerhouse that is heating up at the perfect time.

Pretenders

ASS Etienne SZN

Although Etienne has looked great this year, it hasn't been the same for the rest of the squad. Davis Mills has consistently been in the starting lineup, and 2nd round pick D'Andre Swift hasn't been able to get it going all year. This isn't going to be the year for team ASS.

Chuckysgone

In order for this team to compete, they are going to need to be healthy. In order for that to happen, this team will need to enter a portal into Benjamin Buttons psyche and turn back the clock a few years. I don't see MT, Keenan Allen, Zeke, and Julio Jones all entering the playoffs healthy, which turns this team into a pretender.

Waddle-in' Back

When a team loses their QB1, RB1, and RB2 early on in the year, it's going to take a miracle for the team to prevail on the other side. This team will be dangerous next year, but losing their stars will keep them out of the limelight this year.
